Solutions Designed to Save Energy and Extend the Life of Equipment

The INFINIGUARD Anti-Corrosive Inorganic Surface Treatment solution consists of a silicon-ceramic coating designed to bond on the molecular level with metal substrates. This coating is designed to mitigate the destructive effects of corrosion on HVAC equipment due to coastal salt laden air, industrial acid rain, high-alkalinity environments, and chemical corrosion. It is the ONLY ambient temperature curing inorganic treatment that seals and protects all noble metals, plastics, electrical components, and even the control panels and logic boards! It is virtually impervious to moisture, UV, acids, alkalis, and biological contaminants. As such, a single treatment will preserve coils and components for the mechanical life of the HVAC unit.

Energy and Maintenance Savings

We offer a fully integrated system to preserve HVAC units against the ravages of environmental degradation, dust fouling, and biological contamination while simultaneously enhancing operational efficiency. HVAC units treated with our coastal protection coating can see energy cost reduction while increasing the life of the unit and reducing maintenance costs. The return on your investment will be achieved in 10-18 months for HVAC units treated (energy costs alone). Our corrosion-proof coatings will also add years of life to your roof top package units and carry a standard limited warranty of 5 years.*

HVAC Coatings

Caribbean Energy Solutions Fully Integrated HVAC Coating Solution

  • Reduces air conditioning energy cost up to 15%
  • Controls corrosion and stops all degradation of treated units
  • Improves efficiency and restores HVAC unit output
  • Improves indoor air quality & eliminates 'dirty sock' for indoor air handling units
  • Increases the life of new or used units
  • Increases laminar airflow across the coil and improves the capacity of condenser units to offload heat
  • Stands up to the hottest and most corrosive environments
  • All components can be coated including electrical components and control boards
  • Uses moisture as the catalyst during the curing stage (the coating can be correctly applied in high humidity environments)
  • Dry film thickness of 0.5 mils (12.7 microns)
  • Standard limited 5 year coating warranty, 1 year warranty on existing systems*

  • Bonds on a molecular level with the substrate
  • Can be correctly installed in high-humidity environments
  • All tubing is coated
  • The entire unit is coated including the inside and outside of the cabinet
  • Product will not bridge
  • Increases laminar airflow
  • Inorganic coating (does not permit microbial growth)
  • Increases output on units
  • Increases efficiency
  • Dry temp max is 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit
  • No metal pigments used
  • Sustains heat exchange on new units and restores it on existing units
  • Can be applied in the field on existing units

Traditional Coatings

  • These are sacrificial paints
  • Cannot be installed properly in high-humidity environments
  • When dipped at a factory, some of the copper tubing is left exposed
  • Only apply coating to the coil
  • Bridging can occur
  • Decrease laminar airflow
  • Organic coating (can allow microbial growth)
  • Decrease initial output of the unit
  • Decrease efficiency
  • Max dry temp range before failure is up to 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Some use aluminum/stainless steel pigment to impede corrosion
  • Can be highly flammable

* 5 Year Limited Warranty - INFINIGUARD HVAC Coating

Caribbean Energy Solutions LLC (CES) and its affiliates warrant INFINIGUARD HVAC coatings to be free of defects as long as they are catalyzed and applied by a certified CES applicator that has been certified and trained by CES, the product is applied in its entirety following the guidelines set forth by CES, and the HVAC equipment treated is visually inspected and cleaned on a 4 month schedule following the maintenance guidelines established by CES. Cleaning of the coated unit shall be with water only. Maintenance shall be performed in accordance with the “Maintenance Procedures for INFINIGUARD Coated Coils” document included in your warranty package. Deviation from the maintenance requirements will void the 5 year warranty. Please feel free to contact us with any questions pertaining to the warranty of our coating.
